+ Why is it 8 hours?
We know it seems like a long day (it is!). But we have found that this is the best way to serve the most people.
+ What should I bring?
Your pre-work (you will get this a few weeks before the workshop), a pen, a bagged lunch or money to buy lunch. You don't need a computer.
+ What about snacks?
We love snacks! We will provide coffee and a few snacks.
+ It's at a church. Is it a religious course?
Good question. Amy is trained to coach the whole person. If your faith is important to you, that you need/want to incorporate into your career discernment then, by all means, do so! But if not, that is just fine too. Amy comes from a Christian background but has designed the workshop for anyone. And it's at a church that offered us a good price in a great location.
+ Why do I have to do one-on-one coaching?
The short answer is because it is so helpful! We want to be able to serve each person in a personal way, and this is hard to do in a group setting. We will have a chance to coach you through your action plan and hold you accountable to your commitments. We have greatly discounted our one-on-one coaching for Springboard participants and are excited to work with each of you personally too.
+ Why is the price so low?
Amy desires to make coaching accessible to everyone - hence the various options and early bird special. We know that other companies and coaches charge thousands for an all day workshop and we don't think our course is less valuable, but we trust the process and feel good about making it accessible to more people!
+ Why is it so expensive?
This may seem expensive to you but (see above answer!) an 8 hour workshop is a lot of work! Regular coaching usually runs at least $100/call - often times $200/call. We think you guys are getting a GREAT DEAL! And we do leave a few spots for students and underemployed people. If you have any questions about our rates, feel free to contact us!
